The tool for buying energy with a method

Every major cost itemhas a policy, a procedureand a period-end report. From today, energy too.

Coverwatt follows the electricity and gas markets every day, tells you whether today’s price is high or low against the last two years and your budget, and reads and compares your suppliers’ offers. The decision stays yours, and stays in writing.

The line is your price: certain as far as you are covered, exposed to the market beyond.

79.5%

of non-household customers in Italy buy electricity at a variable price.

How many of them formally decided to?

What it does

Four things, every day, on your behalf.

  • The market, followed for you.

Forward prices for electricity and gas, the previous day’s price, CO₂, oil and gas storage. Every morning, a summary by email.

  • Today’s price, measured.

We tell you whether today’s forward price is high or low against the last 24 months and your budget, using declared rules you can read and change. When the data are not enough, we say so.

  • Offers, read and compared.

Upload the offer as a PDF: an artificial intelligence model extracts the supplier, the years and the prices, and you check and save them. The tool then sets it beside the wholesale price for the same day and shows you how much the supplier adds on top.

  • An assistant that works on your figures.

Ask a question in Italian: it answers from your portfolio data, builds charts and tables from the real figures, and if it proposes a change it makes it only after you confirm.

Artificial intelligence reads and answers. The price signal does not use it: it comes from rules you can read.

How it works

How you decide: the rule first, then the account.

A rule written before, a record during, an account after. It is how you already govern every other major cost item.

  1. Written before

    You write the policy

The share to cover, the permitted range, who proposes and who approves. It is approved by whoever is accountable for it, before any purchase.

  2. During

Every decision goes in the log

With date and time, the rule in force and what was known at that moment. The log is never rewritten. When the data are not enough for a signal, we say so instead of giving you a number.

The account, once the period is closed

Line by line, on like-for-like quantities: how much you were covered, at what price, how far you varied from budget. A report you can take to the board.

Your covered share

As far as the line is straight, the cost is certain.

Move the covered share. The straight part is the cost you have made certain with a fixed price; the moving part remains exposed to the market. No share is right in absolute terms: what matters is that it is consistent with the policy you wrote.

The account

A report, not a dashboard.

The account, clear even on paper: how much you were covered, at what price, how far you varied from budget. Your name and your rule at the top; ours at the bottom, small.

Our fees

How much we earn, and from whom.

It is a fact, not a slogan. It appears in every report, in the same place and in the same type as your figures.

From you

An annual fee

Fixed. It does not depend on the outcome or on when you buy.

From suppliers

None

Today we receive no fees from anyone who sells energy.

What we do not do

There are things we do not promise.

  • We do not forecast the price.

Nobody knows it. We give you a method for deciding without having to guess it.

  • We do not decide for you.

The thresholds and shares are yours. The engine is rule-based and says so.

  • We do not sell energy or execute orders.

Buy from whoever you like, as you do today.

  • We do not promise you savings.

We promise you an account that can be checked again.

The first step

Start from a bill.

Send us a recent bill and, if you have it, the latest offer you received. We activate your access with your figures already in: what you pay, where today’s price stands against the last two years and your budget, and how much the supplier adds on top of the wholesale price. Then you decide whether it is time to ask for a fixed-price or variable-price offer. No commitment, and no forecasts.
